data and account deletion
Two separate routes: erase recovery data stored on this device, or request deletion of a Staplicht online account and linked server data.
In the Android app, open Instellingen (Settings), go to Privacy and choose Gegevens wissen (Erase data). Confirm the warning. This removes local check-ins, notes, plan data, reflections, progress and local profile settings from that device.
Local deletion keeps the account session, language, theme, privacy settings and verified Plus status on that device. It does not submit an online account deletion request and it does not manage a Google Play subscription.
In the Android app, open Settings, choose Account verwijderen (Delete account), read the subscription warning and confirm. The authenticated request is processed immediately. If you no longer have the app, email support@staplicht.app from the account address with subject 'Delete my Staplicht account'. Never send a password or private journal text.
Staplicht revokes all account sessions, removes login credentials and direct profile identifiers, deletes linked moderation metadata, and deactivates account entitlements.
Pseudonymized billing records may remain while a purchase is restorable or financial, dispute and anti-fraud obligations apply. They can include a random deleted-account tombstone, product and transaction references, status, expiry and a hashed purchase token; they cannot be used to sign in.
A pending Google Play refund review can retain its encrypted purchase token, order reference and optional obfuscated identifiers until it is submitted or the review window expires. Submission erases those encrypted secrets; after expiry, the configured erasure grace is capped at one hour and cleanup is scheduled at least hourly. Non-secret review and outcome metadata can remain for up to 400 days for dispute, audit and anti-fraud records.
An eligible active or lifetime purchase can be restored to a new Staplicht account through the same Google Play buyer account. Transfer is allowed only when Google Play verification proves the original deleted account; an active owner, refunded purchase or third account cannot be displaced.
Deleting a Staplicht account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage cancellation separately in Google Play.
